Testimonials about the Brody Improv School
"The Brody Theater classes have consistently given me a safe place to explore the boundaries of my improv "journey." It's not always easy to put yourself out there and try new things, and at Brody, I always feel I will be supported."
"I started taking classes at the Brody thinking I might have a little bit of fun trying something new, nothing earth shattering. Instead, thanks to the incredibly supportive and knowledgeable teachers, I have found a new passion."
"The classes have taught me skills that I can take into my everyday life: learning how to listen better, remembering conversations, and staying focused and in the present. The instructors at the Brody have helped me not only become better at improv, but better at my job. "
"I was terrified of going into these classes. I was someone who had no business being on stage or speaking in front of anyone for that matter, but I wanted something that would push me out of my comfort zone. Two weeks in and I was hooked. It is an incredibly welcoming environment - from both students and teachers - and I wish I had gotten into improv much sooner."
"I have been studying at Brody for almost a year and every class, every teacher, every performance and every show I have seen have all contributed to my forward momentum as an Improvisor. I love the warm, welcoming, supportive atmosphere of the Brody Theater and am proud to be a part of this amazing improv family."
"I can't believe all the things I've learned just in a short time of studying improv at the Brody. Both in terms of theater and in LIFE. Thank you so much!"
"If you're like me and can't tell a joke but have been thinking about taking an Improv class forever, take the plunge and sign up for the Intro Workshop or Level 1 today! Signing up was indeed the hardest part for me. I had so much fun from the beginning to the end of class, while learning useful techniques that will help me on stage & off. "
"I did not set out to become an improvisor. I set out to try something new. Improv classes with the Brody have changed my life. The teachers love what they do and are great at it. The students are wonderful people from all walks of life. I would recommend it to anybody- truly anybody and everybody."
